Static HTML websites are websites that as the name implies, they are static, they are not easily changed as the text & images are in between the html code and used more for static information such in a brochure format. The pro for the static site is that the design is easier than working with a Content Managed Template and thus cheaper and designs can be more elaborate and non 'traditional' but updating is time consuming and expensive when you need to pay somebody to do it for you.
